How is the 1.5% cashback calculated?
Unlimited Cashback is calculated on a monthly basis based on your statement date and will be calculated based on two decimal places for each individual eligible retail transactions posted in the statement month without any rounding off.

Unlimited Cashback earned will be reflected in that month’s card statement but credited to your principal Card account only in the following statement cycle month. The Unlimited Cashback amount will then be automatically offset against the following statement cycle month’s billed amount.

How is the 3% foreign currency cashback calculated?
The 3% foreign currency cashback is calculated on a monthly basis based on your statement date and will be calculated based on two decimal places for each individual eligible foreign currency retail transactions posted in the statement month without any rounding off. Cashback earned will be reflected together with the 1.5% Unlimited Cashback you are eligible to receive as an aggregated amount in that month’s card statement but credited to your principal Card account only in the following statement cycle month. The total cashback amount will be automatically offset against the following statement cycle month’s billed amount.

What is EZ-Reload by Card?
EZ-Reload by Card is a service by Ez-Link that automatically tops up your card when it has insufficient value for payment.

With each auto top-up, your credit card account will be debited with the designated top-up amount of S$50.25 (inclusive of $0.25 Convenience Fee for each top up). Please note that the convenience fee is charged by EZ-Link and we are unable to waive it.

How do I enrol for the EZ-Reload facility?
Your Unlimited Cashback Credit Card is automatically enrolled for EZ-Reload by Card. Once you receive the SMS containing the Activation Code, proceed to any General Ticketing Machine located at all MRT stations to activate the service. (This must be done within 6 months from the time you received the SMS.)

What is my CAN number?
CAN Number is the 16-digit unique identifier for your ez-link purse embedded in your Unlimited Cashback Credit Card. This is printed on the back of the credit card.

Can I have the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card that does not come with ez-link purse embedded in it?
The Unlimited Cashback Credit Card comes embedded with ez-link purse, which allows a stored value of up to SGD$50. If you do not wish to utilise the ez-link purse, simply do not add any value to it. You can continue using your Unlimited Cashback Credit Card normally.

Can I opt-out of the EZ-Reload service?
If you do not wish to utilise the EZ-Reload by Card service, simply ignore the Activation Code SMS sent to you. If EZ-Reload by Card is not activated, it will be automatically terminated after 6 months from the date of the Activation Code SMS.

What if I did not receive the SMS activation for EZ-Reload? What do I do?
If you did not receive the activation code, please contact EZ-Link at 6496 8300.

Fees
Is there a fee for EZ-Reload by Card service? Can it be waived?

Yes, there is a convenience fee of $0.25 per EZ-Reload top-up. As this is charged by EZ-Link, we are unable to waive it.

Lost/damaged/Renewal Card
What should I do if I have lost my Unlimited Cashback Credit Card?

In the event your card is lost, you need to do the following:
To report the lost of your card, please call our 24-hour Client Contact Centre at 1800 7477 000

(Only if EZ-Reload is activated) To disable the ez-link purse embedded in your card, please calls EZ-Link hotline at 6496 8300.

EZ-Link will block the ez-link purse on your card and terminate the EZ-Reload by Card facility within 48 hours. The remaining value of your ez-link purse will be refunded back to your credit card account (within 1 month).

Please note that there will be a new CAN number for your ez-link purse whenever a new credit card is issued to you.

What should I do if my Unlimited Cashback Credit Card is damaged?
In the event your card is damaged, please call our 24-hour Client Contact Centre at 1800 7477 000 for a replacement. Once you have received your new credit card, you may proceed to the TransitLink Ticket Office for a refund of the remaining value in your ez-link purse personally with your old card and NRIC/Passport.

Do note that there will be a new CAN number for your ez-link purse whenever a new credit card is issued to you.

When I replaced my credit card, can I maintain my ez-link purse with the same CAN number?
Every Unlimited Cashback Credit Card comes with a unique CAN number. For security purposes, we do not maintain the old ez-link purse when a card is replaced.

How do I activate the EZ-Reload by Card service when I receive my new replaced/renewed credit card?
When a new credit card is sent to you, you will be assigned a new CAN number. Upon activating your new credit card, you will receive your activation code via SMS from EZ-Link to activate the EZ-Reload by Card facility within 7 working days. You may activate the EZ-Reload facility at any General Ticketing Machine with your card and the activation code.

Can I transfer my balance on my ez-link purse to my new credit card ez-link purse?
No, unfortunately we are unable to transfer the balance from the old ez-link purse to the new ez-link purse as this is maintained by EZ-Link. However, you may visit any TransitLink Ticket Office to request for a refund. Others

The Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card (“Card”) gives you 1.5% cashback (“Unlimited Cashback“) when you (including your supplementary cardholder(s) on your Card account) charge Eligible Retail Transactions (refer to transaction exclusions below) to the Card. Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card Funds Transfer (17 February to 30 April 2020) Promotion Terms and Conditions

  • This Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card Funds Transfer (17 February to 30 April 2020) Promotion (the “Promotion”) is available from 17 February to 30 April 2020 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”) to New-to-Card Customers (each a “Selected Cardholder”) of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) who are individuals and sign up for a new Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card (each a “Credit Card”) which is approved within the promotion period.. For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion is not transferable. By participating in the Promotion, the Selected Cardholder understands and agrees (i) that he/she is applying for a transfer of funds from the Credit Card Account (as defined in Clause 2c below) to a credit card, credit line or bank account with any financial institution (the “Application”), excluding credit card accounts with the Bank and credit line accounts with the Bank and (ii) to be bound by these terms and conditions.


  • Eligibility
  • To qualify for this Promotion and receive the Cashback (as defined in Clause 5 below):
    a. the Selected Cardholder must sign up as a principal cardholder of a Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card which is applied for and approved between 17 February and 30 April 2020 (both dates inclusive);
    b. the Selected Cardholder must be a New-to-Card Customer (defined in Clause 3 below);
    c. the Selected Cardholder must SMS FT UCC to 77222 By sending the SMS, you agree to allow Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited ("Bank") to contact you regarding this application. You also consent, agree and/or authorise the Bank to verify (a) any of the information you provide or will be providing to the Bank regarding this application and (b) your credit standing based on information obtained from credit reference agencies.
    d. the Selected Cardholder will receive a phone call from the bank about this promotion to apply for a new Credit Card Funds Transfer with the Bank . The minimum and maximum Credit Card Funds Transfer amount applicable at the time of the Application is as set out in Clause 17 below; and
    e. the Selected Cardholder’s Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card account (the “Credit Card Account”) must be validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason during the Promotion Period), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, including at the time the Cashback is credited to the Selected Cardholder’s Funds Transfer Account (as defined in Clause 9 below), as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.
  • A New-to-Card Customer is defined as an individual who starts a Credit Card relationship with the Bank during the Promotion Period but does not include an individual who maintains or had maintained a Credit Card relationship with the Bank and/or any other Standard Chartered Group entities within the past six (6) months from the date of commencement of the Promotion Period.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion is only applicable to new Applications for Credit Card Funds Transfer received during the Promotion Period; and the Selected Cardholder must not have had his/her previous Credit Card Account suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason prior to the new application and subsequently reopen another Credit Card Account during the Promotion Period, for the purposes of this Promotion.
  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Bank may continue to process any Application received by the Bank up to seven (7) calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and the Bank shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these Applications and/or allow the said Applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-to-case basis, subject to these terms.
  • If the Selected Cardholder satisfies the qualifying criteria set out in Clause 2a to 2e, read with Clauses 3 and 4 above, the cashback amount equivalent to 1% of the Approved Amount will be credited to the Selected Cardholder’s Credit Card Funds Transfer Account within 60 days from the approval of the Application.
  • The Cashback is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other items.
  • In the event the Bank has determined that the Selected Cardholder is not eligible to receive the Cashback or to participate in this Promotion, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Selected Cardholder would not have been entitled to redeem the Cashback, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the Cashback or to deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Funds Transfer Account with the Bank.
  • The Bank reserves the right to debit and/or forfeit the Cashback without compensation if the Selected Cardholder’s Credit Card Account is not valid and/or in good standing, as determined in the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion.
  • A separate Credit Card Funds Transfer account will be created upon the approval of the Application (“Funds Transfer Account”). This is a separate account from the Selected Cardholder’s Credit Card Account(s).
  • A one-time non-refundable 0.5% processing fee on the amount transferred pursuant to the Application approved pursuant to this Promotion (the amount transferred being the "Approved Amount" and the fee on the Approved Amount, the “Processing Fee”) will be charged to the Credit Card Funds Transfer Account upon the approval of the Application.
  • The Approved Amount will be debited from the Funds Transfer Account, treated in the same way as a charge arising from a normal credit card transaction and will be reflected in the statement issued for the Credit Card Funds Transfer Account. The Selected Cardholder must pay the monthly minimum payment indicated in his/her monthly credit card statement for the Funds Transfer Account and other accounts (if there are transactions and/or outstanding balances) to prevent incurring additional fees and charges.
  • The Effective Interest Rate (EIR) of 3.10% p.a. is calculated taking into consideration the Processing Fee and based on the assumption that full repayment is made within the six months starting from the date the Application is approved with minimum monthly payments of 1% of principal plus interest, fees, charges in the first five months and full payment on the sixth month.
  • The promotional interest rate of 0% p.a. is valid for the six months starting from the date the Application is approved, after which the prevailing interest rate chargeable for the Selected Cardholder’s Credit Card Account will apply. Interest is subject to compounding if it is not paid in full. The promotional interest rate is applicable only to the Approved Amount and not to existing outstanding balance, fees and charges associated with any funds/balance transfer, other card transactions, cash advance transactions and other funds/balance transfers.
  • If the Selected Cardholder and/or his/her supplementary cardholder defaults on any payment in respect of the Selected Cardholder’s Credit Card Accounts or any other credit facilities from the Bank during the six months starting from the date the Application is approved (also referenced in Clause 13 above) or for other reasons which the Bank deems appropriate at its sole discretion, a late payment interest of 28% p.a. will be charged to all accounts. The bank shall also be entitled to withdraw the promotional interest rate and charge applicable finance charges and/or late payment charges at such rate as we may determine.
  • Payment must be made individually to the different accounts that the Selected Cardholder holds with the Bank. Payment made into another account or any credit balance in another account will not be automatically transferred into the Funds Transfer Account to settle any outstanding amounts.
  • If payments are not received by the due date for any account(s), the Selected Cardholder’s Funds Transfer Account(s) will incur a late payment fee of S$80 (per account). The EIR applicable on the Funds Transfer Account(s) will be adjusted to 28% p.a. if the minimum payment due is not received in full by the next Statement Date on the Selected Cardholder’s Funds Transfer Account(s), and finance charges will apply if payment is not received by the due date. If the Selected Cardholders have only missed one payment, it will be reinstated to the prevailing EIR once minimum payment due is made in full. If however the Selected Cardholder’s Funds Transfer Account has been twice or more past due on a consecutive basis, the EIR will only revert to 26.9% p.a. once minimum payment due for the relevant consecutive months where the account was past due is made in full.
  • The minimum funds transfer amount is S$1,000, and the maximum is 95% of the Selected Cardholder’s total available credit limit of the Standard Chartered Credit Card Account at the time of processing the Application.
  • The Bank reserves the right to decline the Application or approve the Application with a lower funds transfer amount than the amount applied for without any reason whatsoever.
  • Supplementary cardholders, and cardholders holding corporate cards or credit cards with $500 credit limit are not eligible to apply for Credit Card Funds Transfer. Credit Card Funds Transfer will not be eligible for any Rewards Points and cashback.
  • By participating in the Promotion, the Selected Cardholder consents to the use of his/her personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of his/her telephone number to contact him/her about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by the Selected Cardholder. Such consent will also prevail even if the Selected Cardholder is registered or subsequently registers his/her contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.


  • General
  • Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, privileges or promotions.
  • The Bank may vary, modify, add, delete or otherwise revise any of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion or to terminate, withdraw, extend or shorten the Promotion at any time at the Bank’s sole discretion, with or without prior notice or reason.
  • The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, including the Selected Cardholder’s eligibility for the Cashback and/or the Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • These Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card Funds Transfer (17 February to 30 April 2020) Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Bank’s Customer Terms, the Credit Card Terms, the Credit Card Funds Transfer Programme Product Terms and any other relevant Product Terms (the “Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
  • In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, prevail.
  • A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.

Unlimited Card Fullerton Dining Promotion Terms and Conditions

Valid from 15 August 2018 to 30 April 2020 (“Unlimited Card Fullerton Dining Promotion Period”). Under this Unlimited Card Fullerton Dining Promotion, Unlimited Cardholders and their dining companions (the “Dining Party”) may enjoy up to 50% off a la carte food items and selected buffets such as the International Buffet Lunch at the Town Restaurant which is available from Monday to Friday; Brimming Buffet Dinner at the Town Restaurant which is available daily; Indian Curry Lunch Buffet at The Courtyard Restaurant which is available Monday to Friday; Afternoon Tea Buffet at The Courtyard Restaurant which is available daily; Chocolate Buffet at The Courtyard Restaurant which is available on Friday and Saturday, which excludes set menus, promotional menus, children’s menus, buffets which are not listed per above, drinks, banquet, catering, takeaway, private dining, service charge and GST (“A La Carte Food Items”) at all 9 participating dining establishments of The Fullerton Hotel & The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore. Standard Chartered Caltex 2019 Promotion Terms and Conditions

Enjoy up to 19.7% savings on your monthly fuel purchase

Eligibility

  1. The Standard Chartered Caltex 2019 Promotion (“Promotion“) is available from 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2019 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period“). The Promotion is open to all eligible principal cardholders of Standard Chartered Credit Cards (“Card“) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited in Singapore (“Bank”) (collectively, “Eligible Cardholders“). By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Cardholders agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Eligible Cardholders whose Card accounts have been suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason during the Promotion Period and until 1 January 2019 are not eligible for this Promotion.
  3. By participating in the Promotion, the Eligible Cardholder consents to the use of his/her personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of his/her telephone number to contact him/her about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will also prevail even if the Eligible Cardholder is registered or subsequently registers his/her contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.

Promotion mechanics

  1. Under the Promotion, an Eligible Cardholder can stand to receive:
    1. up to 25.07% in fuel savings when using his/her Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card at Caltex service stations in Singapore (“Caltex”). For the avoidance of doubt, Priority Banking Visa Infinite Credit Card is considered a Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Credit Card for the purpose of this Promotion; or
    2. up to 22.30% in fuel savings when using his/her MANHATTAN World Mastercard® at Caltex; or
    3. up to 21.04% in fuel savings when using his/her Unlimited Cashback Credit Card at Caltex; or
    4. up to 19.78% in fuel savings when using his/her Card (being a Card other than the Visa Infinite Credit Card and MANHATTAN World Mastercard®) at Caltex.
  2. A breakdown of how this 25.07% in fuel savings referred to in Clause 4(a) above for Eligible Cardholders holding the Visa Infinite Credit Card is calculated is as follows:
    1. either of the following instant upfront Standard Chartered Cards discount:
      1. 16% instant upfront Standard Chartered Cards discount (which includes the 5% site discount) on Platinum 98 with Techron® fuel purchases only at Caltex (“Upfront 16% Discount”); or
      2. 14% instant upfront Standard Chartered Cards discount (which includes the 5% site discount) on Premium 95 with Techron®, Regular 92 with Techron® and Caltex Diesel with Techron® fuel purchases only at Caltex (“Upfront 14% Discount”); plus
    2. an additional 10.8% rebate on the nett transaction amount charged to your Visa Infinite Credit Card at Caltex (i.e. the amount after deduction of the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (as applicable)) (“Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate”) (capped at S$200 during the Promotion Period as per Clause 12 below). The Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate amount will be credited to the Visa Infinite Credit Card account by the 28th day of the next calendar month. (To illustrate, any Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate earned in January 2019 will be credited by 28 February 2019).
  3. A breakdown of how this 22.30% in savings referred to in Clause 4(b) above for Eligible Cardholders holding the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® is calculated is as follows:
    1. either the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (each as defined above in Clauses 5(a)(i) and (ii));
    2. an additional 4.5% rebate on the nett transaction amount charged to your MANHATTAN World Mastercard® at Caltex (i.e. the amount after deduction of the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (as applicable)) (“Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate”) (capped at S$200 during the Promotion Period as per Clause 12 below). The Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate amount will be credited to the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® account by the 28th day of the next calendar month. (To illustrate, any Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate earned in January 2019 will be credited by 28 February 2019);plus
    3. up to3% rebate on the nett transaction amount charged to your MANHATTAN World Mastercard® at Caltex (capped at S$200 per statement cycle quarter and S$800 a year as per Clause 16 below) (“MANHATTAN cashback”).
  4. The meaning of ‘month’ and hence, minimum ‘monthly’ spend for the purposes of the Standard Chartered Rebate, the MANHATTAN cashback and the Unlimited Cashback are computed differently. In order to get the Standard Chartered Rebate, the Eligible Cardholders need to meet the conditions of the Standard Chartered Rebate in that respective calendar month. Whereas (a) for the MANHATTAN cashback, the Eligible Cardholders holding the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® will have to meet the conditions of the MANHATTAN cashback in that respective statement cycle month; and (b) for the Unlimited Cashback, the Eligible Cardholders holding the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card will have to meet the conditions of the Unlimited Cashback in that respective statement cycle month. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Cardholders holding the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® and/or the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card will have to meet both criteria during the same relevant period to get both (a) the Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate and (b) the MANHATTAN cashback and/or Unlimited Cashback.
  5. A breakdown of how this 21.04% in savings referred to in Clause 4(c) above for Eligible Cardholders holding the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card is calculated is as follows:
    1. either the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (each as defined above in Clauses 5(a)(i) and (ii));
    2. an additional Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate (as defined above in Clause 6(b)) on the nett transaction amount charged to your Unlimited Cashback Credit Card at Caltex (i.e. the amount after deduction of the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (as applicable)) (capped at S$200 during the Promotion Period as per Clause 12 below). The Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate amount will be credited to the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card account by the 28th day of the next calendar month. (To illustrate, any Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate earned in January 2019 will be credited by 28 February 2019);plus
    3. 5%rebate on the nett transaction amount charged to your Unlimited Cashback Credit Card at Caltex (“Unlimited Cashback”).
  6. The meaning of ‘month’ and hence, minimum ‘monthly’ spend for the purposes of the Standard Chartered Rebate, the MANHATTAN cashback and the Unlimited Cashback are computed differently. In order to get the Standard Chartered Rebate, the Eligible Cardholders need to meet the conditions of the Standard Chartered Rebate in that respective calendar month. Whereas (a) for the MANHATTAN cashback, the Eligible Cardholders holding the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® will have to meet the conditions of the MANHATTAN cashback in that respective statement cycle month; and (b) for the Unlimited Cashback, the Eligible Cardholders holding the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card will have to meet the conditions of the Unlimited Cashback in that respective statement cycle month.   7. A breakdown of how this 19.78% in savings referred to in Clause 4(c) above is calculated is as follows:
    1. either the Upfront 16% Discount or Upfront 14% Discount (each as defined above in Clauses 5(i) and (ii)); plus
    2. the Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate (as defined above in Clause 6(b)).

Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate or Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate

  1. In order to get the additional Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate or Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate (as applicable) in a given calendar month referred to in Clauses 5(b), 6(b) and 8(b) above, Eligible Cardholders will need to satisfy the condition in Clause 11 below on the Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend (as defined in Clause 11 below). However, regardless of whether the condition in Clause 11 is met, Eligible Cardholders will still enjoy the Upfront 16% Discount for Platinum 98 with Techron® or the Upfront 14% Discount for Premium 95 with Techron®, Regular 92 with Techron® and Caltex Diesel with Techron® on their fuel purchase provided they top up their motor vehicle fuel at Caltex.
  1. To enjoy the additional Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate for Visa Infinite Credit Cards or Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate for all other Standard Chartered Credit Cards on your Caltex spends in a given calendar month, Eligible Cardholders must successfully charge a minimum of S$600 (“Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend”) in that same month on total eligible retail transactions, which can consist of any number or combination of retail transactions (“Qualifying Standard Chartered Transactions”). These Qualifying Standard Chartered Transactions must be charged to the same Card which was used for purchases at Caltex. Qualifying Standard Chartered Transactionsexcludes those transactions set out at Clause 14 below.
  2. The maximum Standard Chartered Rebate an Eligible Cardholder can receive during the Promotion Period is capped at S$200. For the avoidance of doubt, this cap remains as S$200 per Eligible Cardholder, regardless of how many Cards he uses.
  3. Where an Eligible Cardholder uses more than one Card under this Promotion, each Card will need to satisfy the conditions in these terms (including but not limited to the Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend per Card) in order for the Eligible Cardholder to enjoy the features of this Promotion on that Card.
  4. The following transactions charged to a Card willnot be considered as Qualifying Standard Chartered Transactions to meet the Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend:
    1. Insurance premiums, including premiums for investment-linked policies, charged to the Card;
    2. Bill payments (Examples of bill payment merchants include but are not limited to Telecommunications and utilities providers such as Starhub, Singtel and M1, Singapore Power);
    3. Any payment via AXS network;
    4. Any payment via SAM network;
    5. Payments to government agencies which include but not limited to Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Public Utilities Board, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and the Ministry of Manpower;
    6. Income tax payments;
    7. EZ-Link cards transactions;
    8. Transit Link transactions;
    9. Any transactions pertaining to Merchant Category Codes 6211 (Security Brokers/Dealers) and 7995 (Gambling/Lotto);
    10. Balance transfers to the Registered Card, cash advances from the Card, purchases via NETS and ongoing instalment payments;
    11. Any fees and charges (including annual fees, interest charges, cheque processing fees, administrative fees, cash advance fees, finance charges and/or late payment charges and other miscellaneous fees and charges) charged to the Card;
    12. Any amount charged to the Card during the Promotion Period that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed; and
    13. Balance owing on the Card account from other months.

MANHATTAN cashback

  1. In order to get the additional MANHATTAN cashback in a given statement cycle month referred to in Clause 6(c) above, Eligible Cardholders holding the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® (“Eligible MANHATTAN Cardholders”) will need to satisfy the condition in Clause 16 below on the Minimum Tiered MANHATTAN Monthly Spend (as defined in Clause 16 below). However, regardless of whether the condition in Clause 16 is met, Eligible MANHATTAN Cardholders will still enjoy the Upfront 16% Discount for Platinum 98 with Techron® or Upfront 14% Discount for Premium 95 with Techron®, Regular 92 with Techron® and Caltex Diesel with Techron® on their fuel purchase provided they top up their motor vehicle fuel at Caltex.
  1. To enjoy the additional MANHATTAN cashback in a given statement cycle month, Eligible MANHATTAN Cardholders must successfully charge a minimum of S$0.01, S$1000 or S$3000 (“Minimum Tiered MANHATTAN Monthly Spend”) in that same month on Qualifying MANHATTAN Transactions (as defined in Clause 17 below) to enjoy a tiered MANHATTAN cashback rebate as set out in the table below.

    2. All fees and charges relating to MANHATTAN World Mastercard® (annual fees, late payment fees, interest charges, and/or finance charges);
    3. Balance/Funds Transfer;
    4. Any insurance premiums charged to your MANHATTAN World Mastercard®;
    5. Cash Advance;
    6. Ongoing EasyPay monthly amount;
    7. Refunds credited back (eg. tax refund);
    8. Any amount charged that is subsequently cancelled, voided, refunded or reversed; and
    9. Amounts which have been rolled over from the preceding months’ statements.

Unlimited Cashback

  1. In order to earn the additional Unlimited Cashback in a given statement cycle month referred to in Clause 7(c) above, Eligible Cardholders holding the Unlimited Cashback Credit Card (“Eligible Unlimited Cardholders”) need to charge the Eligible Retail Transactions to the same Unlimited Cashback Credit Card which was used for purchases at Caltex. Eligible Retail Transactions excludesthose transactions set out at Clause 20 below.
  2. The following transactions charged to a Unlimited Cashback Credit Card will not be considered as Eligible Retail Transactions and will not earn Unlimited Cashback:
    1. any cash advance;
    2. any fees and charges (including annual fees, late payment fees, interest charges, and or finance charges) charged to your Card;
    3. any balance or fund transfer;
    4. any monthly instalment of an EasyPay transaction;
    5. any amount charged to your Card (and/or your supplementary credit card) that is subsequently cancelled, voided, refunded or reversed;
    6. recurring payments or payments made to all billing organisations using Standard Chartered Online Banking;
    7. AXS or ATM transactions made using the Card;
    8. amounts which have been rolled over from the preceding months’ statements;
    9. tax refunds credited into your Card account (and/or your supplementary credit card account);
    10. any tax payments charged to your Card (and/or your supplementary credit card);
    11. any insurance premiums charged to your Card (and/or your supplementary credit card); and
    12. any top-ups or payment of funds to any prepaid cards (with the exception of EZ-Reload charged to your Card) and any prepaid accounts including without limitation to the following accounts or any other accounts as we may specify from time to time:

General

  1. The Standard Chartered 10.8% Rebate, Standard Chartered 4.5% Rebate, the MANHATTAN cashback and Unlimited Cashback are strictly non-transferable and non-exchangeable (for cash or credit or otherwise).
  2. For new retail transactions charged to the Card during the Promotion Period which are successfully converted into monthly instalments, either:
    1. At the point of sale by tie up merchants, the monthly instalment amount (and not the total amount charged for that transaction); or
    2. At a later date by us, the total amount charged (and not the converted monthly instalment amount), will be considered as:
  3. a Qualifying Standard Chartered Transaction/Qualifying MANHATTAN Transaction (as applicable) provided such transaction is successfully posted during the Promotion Period;
  4. an Eligible Retail Transaction (as applicable) provided such transaction is successfully posted during the Promotion Period.
  1. Qualifying Standard Chartered Transactions/Qualifying MANHATTAN Transactions (as applicable) charged to supplementary cards will be counted towards the calculation of the Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend/Minimum Tiered MANHATTAN Monthly Spend (as applicable) for the principal Cardholder. Similarly, fuel spends by supplementary cardholders will count as the principal Cardholder’s fuel spends for the purpose of this Promotion.
  2. For non-Singapore dollar transactions charged to the Card, the transaction amount posted in the Eligible Cardholder’s Card account (which is inclusive of the exchange rate conversion and commission, if any) will be considered as the amount for the purpose of determining the Card’s Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend/Minimum Tiered MANHATTAN Monthly Spend (as applicable).
  3. The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including but not limited to acquiring merchants, merchant establishments, or any telecommunication provider.
  4. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify, add or delete any of these terms and conditions, including terminating, shortening, extending or withdrawing the Promotion, without prior notice or reason.
  5. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion, including but not limited to:-
    1. Eligibility to participate in the Promotion;
    2. Calculation of the Minimum Standard Chartered Monthly Spend and/or the Minimum Tiered MANHATTAN Monthly Spend;

is conclusive and final, and no correspondence will be entertained. In the case of a dispute, the decision of the Bank on all matters shall be final.

  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, prevail.
  2. Save for rebates earned on the MANHATTAN World Mastercard® and Unlimited Cashback Credit Card, the rebate earned under this Promotion is in addition to other rebate/cashback that the Eligible Cardholder would ordinarily receive on his/her respective Cards which are not related to the Promotion.
  3. Any terms and conditions imposed by Caltex will also apply. Please check with Caltex for details and terms of participation.
  4. Standard Chartered makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services bought. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant.
  5. Standard Chartered is not an agent of the merchant or vice versa.
  6.   8. These terms and conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of these terms and conditions shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.
