Am I allowed to enjoy the Citi Lazada Card Acquisition Offer if I only hold a Citi supplementary card but would like to apply for the Citi Lazada Card?
Yes, the Citi Lazada Card Acquisition Offer is extended to Citi supplementary cardholders, who do not hold any card as a main credit card with Citi or have closed any in past 12 months.

When is the qualifying spend period?
Your qualifying spend period starts from your Citi Lazada Card approval date to the end of that calendar month (first month) and three full calendar months immediately after the end of that first month. E.g. if your card is approved on 12 December 2019, the qualifying spend period runs from 12 December 2019 to 31 March 2020.

How will the S$150 Lazada Vouchers be fulfilled?
If you are eligible, you will be notified on the redemption of the S$150 Lazada Vouchers via SMS within 2 calendar months from which the promotion eligibility criteria have been satisfied.

How do I know what Merchant Category Code (MCC) the merchant I want to spend at, falls under?
A Merchant Category Code (MCC) is a four digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. The acquiring bank provides the credit card payment facilities used by the merchant and it determines and applies (with respect to the account), the MCC which in its view best describes the merchant activity. Citibank does not determine the merchant’s MCC. You may want to check with the merchant on the MCC they are assigned to.

What will I earn on Lazada spend after the 12X Reward Points on Lazada spend accelerator expires on 29 Feb 2020?
You will earn 10X Reward Points on eligible transactions made at Lazada (excluding Redmart purchases) from 1 March 2020. You will also continue to earn 5X Reward Points on commute, dining, entertainment and travel spend, please refer to Point #1 for full details.

What are the types of transactions that are not eligible for Reward Points?
The following charges are not eligible for Reward Points:
(i) any annual fees, interest charges, late payment charges, GST, cash advances, instalment/easy/extended/equal payment plans, preferred payment plans, balance transfers, cash advances, quasi-cash transactions, all fees charged by Citibank or third party, miscellaneous charges imposed by Citibank (unless otherwise stated in writing by Citibank);
(ii) funds transfers using the card as source of funds;
(iii) bill payments (including via Citibank Online or via any other channel or agent);
(iv) payments to educational institutions;
(v) payments to government institutions and services (including but not limited to court cases, fines, bail and bonds, tax payment, postal services, parking lots and garages, intra-government purchases);
(vi) payments to insurance companies (sales, underwriting, and premiums);
(vii) payments to financial institutions (including banks and brokerages);
(viii) payments to non-profit organizations;
(ix) betting or gambling (including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, and wagers at race tracks) through any channel;
(x) any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid cards and any prepaid accounts;
(xi) transit-related transactions;
(xii) quasi-cash transactions. This refers to transactions representing a purchase of foreign currency or items (including but not limited to, gaming chips, money orders, lottery tickets, traveler’s cheques and precious metals) which may be convertible to cash; and

What is the maximum amount of reward points that I can earn on 12X Reward Points and 5X Reward Points merchants/transactions?
Eligible cardholders will earn up to a cap of 10,000 Reward Points per statement month on 12X Reward Points and 5X Reward Points merchant/transactions. Reward Points are calculated on the amount of each 12X Reward Points Eligible Transaction and 5X Reward Points Eligible Transaction, rounded down to the nearest S$1.
After the cap of 10,000 Reward Points per statement month is reached, continue to earn 1X Reward Point for every S$1 charged. There is no cap on 1X Reward Point that an eligible cardholder can earn.

How are 12X Reward Points, 5X Reward Points and 1X Reward Point calculated?
Reward Points shall be calculated on the amount of each 12X Reward Points Eligible Transaction, 5X Reward Points Eligible Transaction and Qualifying Charge (other than 12X Reward Points Eligible Transaction and 5X Reward Points Eligible Transaction), rounded down to the nearest S$1.

How long will my reward points be valid for?
Reward Points earned will be valid for a period of 36 months from your account opening date.

C. Shipping Rebates

Does this mean that I do not need to pay for shipping on Lazada?
No, you will still need to pay for shipping on your Lazada purchases. To be eligible for a shipping rebate (which is in the form of S$1.99 cashback), a final check-out amount of at least S$50 on purchase(s) at Lazada (with the exception of Redmart purchases) must be charged to the Citi Lazada Card (including supplementary card(s), if any). The main cardholder of the Citi Lazada Card is entitled to no more than 4 Shipping Rebates (worth S$7.96) per calendar month. The Shipping Rebate(s) will be credited into the main cardholder’s Citi Lazada Card within 2 months from the calendar month in which the transaction has been posted.

How many shipping rebates am I eligible for a month?
The shipping rebate is capped at 4 shipping rebates (worth S$7.96) per calendar month.

I am a Citi Lazada Card supplementary card customer. Am I eligible for the shipping rebate?
Qualifying charges which you make to your supplementary card will be included when determining your main cardholder’s eligibility for shipping rebates. However, shipping rebates will only be credited to the main cardholder’s Citi Lazada Card and the number of shipping rebates is capped at 4 shipping rebates (worth S$7.96) per calendar month.

I am an existing Citi Cardmember, am I eligible to receive the free 1-Year LiveUp Membership?
Yes, you will be eligible for the free 1-Year LiveUp Membership.

My Citi Lazada Card was approved in December 2019, when will I be able to redeem the free 1- Year LiveUp Membership?
The free 1-Year LiveUp Membership will be provisioned by Lazada into the Eligible Cardholder’s Lazada account within (2) two calendar months of the card approval month. For example, your Citi Lazada Card was approved in the month of December 2019, Lazada will provision the free 1-year LiveUp Membership into the your Lazada account by end of February 2020.

I have an existing LiveUp Membership. Will I still be eligible?
Yes, you will still be eligible for the free 1-Year LiveUp Membership. Lazada will extend your LiveUp Membership by 1-Year at the end of your current LiveUp Membership.

I do not have a LiveUp Membership. How will I be able to redeem my free 1-Year LiveUp Membership?

Shipping Rebates (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

  3. “Eligible Cardholder” refers to the main cardholder of the Eligible Card.
  4. “Qualifying Charge” refers to the final check-out amount^ of at least S$50 that has been made on purchase(s) at Lazada (with the exception of Redmart purchases) as determined by the following Merchant Description and Merchant Category Code and charged to the Eligible Card (including supplementary card(s), if any):

The Shipping Rebate(s) will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder’s Eligible Card account within two (2) months from the end of the calendar month in which a Qualifying Charge has been made.
  7. Citibank bears no liability for any late submission or transaction posting of any purchase by any merchant that might affect the Promotion.
  8.   1. “Definitions: a)“Citi” or "Citibank" refers to Citibank Singapore Limited.
    b)"Eligible Cardmember" refers to an individual who:
    i. has applied for the Eligible Card (as a main cardmember) through an on-line acquisition channel; and
    ii. does not have an *existing Citi Credit Card (as a main cardmember) at the time of his/her application for the Eligible Card; and
    iii. prior to being issued the Eligible Card during the Promotion Period, did not previously have a Citi Credit Card (as a main cardmember) that was terminated/closed (whether by the individual or by Citibank) in the last twelve (12) months immediately prior to his/her application for the Eligible Card; and
    iv. has not already submitted an application for a Citi Credit Card as a main cardmember, which is pending approval, at the time of his application for the Eligible Card; and
    v. is not an employee of Citibank and its affiliates; and
    vi.is not a United States ("U.S.") Citizen, U.S. Resident, or U.S. Green Card holder.     e)“Promotion Period” refers to the period from 10 October 2020 – 14 January 2021 (both dates inclusive).
  2. "Qualifying Spend " refers to any retail transactions (including internet purchases) which do not arise from (i) any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases, (ii) refunded/disputed/unauthorised/fraudulent retail purchases, (iii) Quick Cash and other instalment loans, (iv) Citi PayLite/Citi Flexibill/cash advance/quasi-cash transactions/balance transfers/annual card membership fees/interest/goods and services taxes, (v) bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds, (vi) late payment fees and (vii) any other form of service/ miscellaneous fees.
  3. “Qualifying Period” refers to the period starting from the Eligible Card approval date to the end of that calendar month (“First Month”) and, three full calendar months immediately after the end of that First Month. Example: if the Eligible Card is approved on 12 October 2020, the Qualifying Period will be from 12 October 2020 (i.e. card approval date) to 31 December 2020 (i.e. two full calendar months starting from 1 November 2020), both dates inclusive.
  4. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Cardmember authorizes Citibank to send Short Message Service ("SMS") notifications pertaining to the Promotion to him/her.
  5. Subject to Clauses 7 and 10, an Eligible Cardmember who meets all of the conditions will qualify to receive Lazada vouchers worth S$150 (“Gift”) set out below:
    a) has applied for the Eligible Card (as a main cardmember) through an on-line acquisition channel; and
    b) the application for the Eligible Card must be approved and successfully opened within 30 days from the date of application; and
    c) spends* S$1,200 or equivalent (“Qualifying Spend Amount”) using the Eligible Card successfully opened during the Qualifying Period.
    *The “spend date” of any Qualifying Spend will be determined by its transaction date based on Singapore Timing (UTC+08:00), and has to be posted by the merchant within 14 calendar days after the Qualifying Period. Example: : if the Qualifying Period is from 12 October 2020 to 31 December 2020, Qualifying Spend has to be posted by 14 January 2021 in order to be included as Qualifying Spend.
  6. Notification on the Gift redemption will be sent to the Eligible Cardmember via SMS within two (2) calendar months from the date all the conditions in Clause (5) have been satisfied. For example: If the Eligible Cardmember satisfies the Qualifying Spend Amount in his/her First Month of the Qualifying Period, the Eligible Cardmember will receive the SMS notification on the Gift redemption by the end of the Third Month of the Qualifying Period. The redemption of the Gift is subject to additional terms and conditions as may be imposed by Lazada. An Eligible Cardmember will not be entitled to receive the Gift if his/her email address and mobile number (that has been registered with Citibank at point of application) does not match with the email address and mobile number that has been registered with Lazada at the point of fulfillment. The Gift is neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, credit or other gifts, in full or in part.
  7. In the event that the Eligible Card is not activated, inactive, terminated or closed (whether by the individual or by Citibank) prior to the date of notification on the Gift redemption, Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the Gift.
  8. In the event that the Eligible Cardmember has accumulated the Qualifying Spend Amount on his/her Eligible Card within the Qualifying Period, but has some of his/her transactions made during the Qualifying Period reversed/refunded/rejected, and as a result the Eligible Cardmember no longer meets the Qualifying Spend Amount within the Qualifying Period, Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the Gift.
